Vince is the founder and principal of the Vince Hrobat Insurance Agency, Inc. which he started in the fall of 1968. Vince currently manages the personal lines department and enjoys keeping in touch with his customers of 38+ years. He is a past president of the Cuyahoga County Insurance Board and is currently a trustee with the Insurance Board of Northern Ohio. The office staff affectionately refers to him as the Grand Poobah. Vince resides in Independence with his wife of over 40 years. They have four children and eight grandchildren.

Tim has been a licensed insurance agent for 20 years and started with the Vince Hrobat Insurance Agency in January 1988. Tim is in charge of all Commercial Lines operations in the Agency. He is a firm believer in education and obtained his Certified Insurance Counselors designation in 1999 and is currently working towards becoming a Certified Risk Manager. Over his 20 year career, Tim has served on many committees and task forces for the Professional Insurance Agents Association and for the carriers we represent. He currently sits on the Agents Advisory Council for Erie Insurance.
Tim is married to his wife Julie for 16 years and has resided in Fairview Park for all 16 years. They have two children, Jonathan and Alyssa. Tim is active in the community, offering his time coaching basketball, baseball and soccer for the Fairview Park Recreation Department and St. Angela Merici School. In his free time, Tim enjoys golfing, snowboarding and spending time with his family.

Melissa has worked at the Vince Hrobat Insurance Agency since 1998 growing with us from a personal lines service representative to the office manager; much of her time is spent working with our large commercial accounts and overseeing the day to day servicing of our clients. She obtained her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation in 2004 and her Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 2010. She married her loving husband in 1999 and is the proud mother of two girls. No service call is too big or too small!

John has been a licensed insurance agent for 17 years. John started his career in claims before becoming a District Sales Manager with Erie Insurance for 12 ½ years. John joined the agency in 2014 as the Sales and Marketing Manager.During John’s 17 years he has become a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), as well as a Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA). John is married to his wife Jennifer for 22 years and they have resided in Reminderville, Ohio since 2007, where he has served on his H.O.A. Board for his Willowbrook community. They have three children Morgan, Macey, and Vincent. In between kids’ activities John enjoys golfing, skiing, boating, and spending time with his family. Servicing customers with a passion and protecting you is what you can expect.

She is currently working on her Associate in Claims designation and will be happy to help in any way with any of your claims questions or concerns. Ann has been happily married for over 25 years and enjoys spending the weekends playing golf with her husband Jim.

Desi has 38 years experience in her field and is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting required for management review and decision making. She has been with the agency since May of 2001. She is a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers. She resides in Kent with her husband. They have 4 children and 2 grandchildren so far…

Pete has been in the insurance industry since 1983, working in a variety of staff and managerial positions. He has been a licensed agent since 1991, working primarily with Property and Casualty coverages. Pete and his wife, Barbara, both Northeast Ohio natives, live in North Ridgeville, Oh. In addition to serving his clients, Pete is a past trustee of The Insurance Board of Northeast Ohio.

Jonathon Hrobat

Jonathon is the son of Tim Hrobat and grandson of Vince, the third generation of Hrobats in the industry. He started at the agency in June 2017 after finishing his college career at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He graduated in April of 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in aviation management with minors in communication and business administration. He is also a licensed private pilot. When not working on insurance Jonathon likes to read comics, try new restaurants, and enjoys watching WWE.

Donna joined our commercial lines department in October 2014 bringing with her over 30 years industry experience with a specialty in bonds. She resides in Parma with her husband of 15 years, Tom, and their two sons Sean and Ryan; their son Kevin is currently serving in the US Navy and Michael lives in Mentor. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and family and looks forward to her yearly tropical vacation. Donna believes in exceptional Customer Service and will do whatever it takes to get the job done!

Greg started with us as an intern in the summers of 2014 & 2015 while enrolled in John Carroll University’s Business School. After graduating in the Spring of 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management he started full time with us as an Account Manager. Soon after he received his Property & Casualty license and plans to continue to broaden his knowledge of the insurance industry. In Greg’s spare time he participates in varies recreational sports around the area, and spends time with his family and friends.
